The Office of Undergraduate Education and the Center for Teaching Advancement and Assessment Research are hosting a panel discussion to consider the issues raised in Academically Adrift by Arum and Roksa.  If you have not seen the book, you may have heard of it.  Here are links to commentary and details of the research report in the book:

Feb 7-8: Sakai and email outage

Due to a power failure on the Busch and Livingston campuses, several central university computing systems were unexpectedly offline for several hours overnight, February 7 to 8.

Sakai and Rutgers email (RCI and Eden accounts) were affected. 

Repairs are expected to be completed Tuesday afternoon, until then systems are available but may need to be taken offline or restarted without advance notice.

Seniors - Sign up for the CLA

As part of a study of learning outcomes, we are inviting graduating seniors to participate in the Collegiate Learning Assessment. Participating students will receive $20 on RUExpress cards after completing the 90-minute test.

Only a limited number of seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. You must be a graduating senior who has attended Rutgers since freshman year.
