CTAAR is subscribing to the semester-long series of 20 minute teaching mentor webinars. A new seminar will be available every week from August 27 through the week of December 10, 2012. Sign up here - every Friday we will send you access information for the upcoming session. Each program can be accessed anytime, anywhere during the week that it is available. The programs are each available for one week only, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time on the Monday of each week. If you are unable to view a program in a week when it was offered and would like to see it, please contact monica.devanas@ctaar.rutgers.edu. There is also exclusive access to a LinkedIn discussion group to promote collaboration and consultation among institutions. Fall 2012 Schedule.pdf

SIRS Spring 2012 Published

The Spring 2012 Student Instructional Rating Surveys are available at the SIRS Results web site, http://sirs.rutgers.edu/ A Rutgers NetID is required to view the results.

Department administrators should continue to use the SIRS Department Archive which has a larger collection of data.

CTAAR is in the process of preparing teaching grids for faculty who are in the tenure and promotion process for the 2012-13 Academic Year. The reports that we prepare will be ready to copy and paste into Form 1-A or equivalent.

We will send faculty their teaching grids by email on August 16. There is no need for faculty to compile this information manually, although you will need to fill in some information  such as "mode of instruction".

Faculty who are coming up for tenure or promotion should make sure that they are in communication with the Office of Academic Labor Relations; CTAAR will only prepare teaching grids for faculty whose names have been forwarded to us by that office.
