"Magna Commons" videos and "Teaching Professor" newsletter

Magna Commons is a large library of recorded "webinars" focusing on a variety of topics centered on teaching, learning, and academic administration and The Teaching Professor is a weekly newsletter that covers many of the same topics. CTAAR has made these available to the Rutgers community for a few years, however the login and registration process was somewhat difficult.

We have switched to a new, easier login method to access the Magna Commons video library. This also provides access to The Teaching Professor newsletter.

To access the Magna Commons and The Teaching Professor newsletter, first log in to Rutgers Sakai using your Rutgers NetID and this link below:

https://sakai.rutgers.edu/portal/site/magna

Once you are in Sakai, you will see another link to the Magna Commons library, when you click that link Sakai will transfer you to the Magna Commons web site.

It is no longer necessary to register separately with the Magna Commons web site, however Sakai will still send your name and email address to Magna Publications as part of the login process.
