The New Jersey Research & Education Network (NJEdge) will hold a symposium on "Simulation and Gamification," on February 25, 2015 in the Livingston Student Center, and is co-sponsored by Rutgers University and Union County College.
"Student engagement is directly linked to improving retention and graduation rates. Join us as we explore board games, maker spaces, virtual worlds, commercial video games, serious games, and simulations that engage students, promote learning, and foster critical thinking. This whole day event will be held on February 25 at the Livingston Student Center, Rutgers University, Piscataway. Expert gamers will help you navigate through role playing, strategy techniques, poll taking, and many other interactive options. Bring your laptop and learn how simulation and gamification are excellent academic tools."
Registration cost is $15 which includes breakfast, lunch and reception.
