May 2021 Archives

The Student Instructional Rating Survey (SIRS) results for Spring 2021 are available as of  Monday, May 17. Faculty, instructors and designated administrators can view the results by logging in to the survey system at https://sirs.ctaar.rutgers.edu/blue and scrolling down to the "reports" section.

At the request of individual academic units, some SIRS results will be delayed to allow additional time for grading:

  • Rutgers Business School (MBA Program): results available on May 24
  • Rutgers Law School: results available on June 18

The statistical portion of the results will also be posted in the SIRS Department Archive before the end of June, and at the SIRS Results site for student view by the end of August 2021.

We hope all of you are doing well and the end of the semester is going smoothly!
We wanted to send a reminder that the 2021 Rutgers Active Learning Symposium registration is now open and will be held virtually on May 19th. Registration is free for the Rutgers Community and anyone else interested! This year's keynote guest is uniquely able to offer ways to tackle engagement in the online environment - Flower Darby. The symposium offers a variety of workshops, presentations, poster sessions and discussions and is a fabulous resource for instructors!

Chris and Christina will be presenting on "Active Learning in Large Online Classes" from 10-10:50 am if you are interested!

Hope to "see" many of you there!
